University of Law

The University of Law (ULaw) is a leading private institution in the UK, specialising in legal education with a strong focus on employability and practical training. Tracing its origins to 1876, it became a university in 2012 and now operates multiple campuses across major UK cities such as London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Bristol, as well as international locations in Berlin and Hong Kong. ULaw offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in law, business, criminology, and psychology, including professional training for solicitors and barristers and preparation for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). The university is known for its small class sizes, practitioner-led teaching, and strong industry links, with over 90% of graduates securing employment or further study shortly after graduation. It has received a Silver rating in the UK’s Teaching Excellence Framework (2023) and five QS Stars for teaching and employability. While it provides excellent professional preparation, ULaw offers a more career-focused than traditional university experience, prioritising practical skills over academic research.
